The first destination on our list is the top-party hot spot with plenty of sunshine, Marbella. Situated in Southern Spain, in Costa del Sol, it’s one of the most popular places amongst ladies that like a good nightlife scene. Marbella is easy to reach from most UK airports, where you’ll fly into Málaga, which is only a 30-minute car journey from Marbella.
The reason why many people flock here is due to its highly Instagram-able bars and clubs. It tends to have a classier and sophisticated side compared to other nightlife hotspots. If you’re looking for ‘boujee’ hen party destinations in Europe, then this is it! There’s also much more to Marbella than the flashy bars and clubs. It’s home to the iconic Puerto Banus marina, where you can stroll along and stop by for a bite to eat, the historic centre of Marbella old town, and the stunning Cabopino beach.
Marbella can be quite expensive, so be sure to look for an apartment that’s affordable to save on costs.

There’s no surprise that a few of Dublin’s attractions revolve around alcohol, so it wouldn’t be an actual visit if you don’t stop by at Jameson Distillery. This is a great place hear about the whiskey distillation process (with plenty of samples). Other attractions include the little museum of Dublin, an interesting prison exhibit, and of course, the electric atmosphere of the city centre ‘Temple Bar’ area. Bar crawl anyone?

The second to last European hen party destination on our list is another island in Spain; one that’s known for its black lava and white sand beaches. Gran Canaria is one of the more popular Canary Islands to visit, especially amongst British tourists. It’s one of the warmer Canaries and is fairly small, so you can explore very easily. One of the best things about Gran Canaria is that it’s warm year-round, so even if you decide to have a hen party in the winter, you’re guaranteed 20+ degrees temperatures!
Whilst the island boasts many all-inclusive resorts and beaches for relaxing in the sun, there are many things to see and do here. Walk along the sandy desert at the Maspalomas Dunes, visit the capital, Las Palmas, and eat in one of its excellent Spanish restaurants, and you could even visit Gran Canaria’s latest attraction, Poema Del Mar Aquarium. Croatia – Split & Dubrovnik

The final recommendation hen party destination in Europe is a quickly rising holiday hotspot. Croatia is a country that’s home to some of the best coastal scenery you’ll ever see, with gorgeous islands, historic ancient towns and plenty of day-trip opportunities. It suits groups that want a somewhat affordable hen party, with a good mix of sightseeing and nightlife. Two of the most popular cities to visit are Dubrovnik and Split, both offering many things to see and do.
Dubrovnik is located in the southern region of Croatia. It’s known for its distinctive old town, boasting huge stone walls from the 16th century. We’d recommend at least 5 days here, as there’s plenty to see; from the walls of Dubrovnik to Lokrum Island and Mount Srd. Pack out your day seeing as many sights as you can and relax in the evening with a glass of wine in hand. Alternatively, head into the centre of town for a fun bar crawl. The nightlife scene is great between June and September.
The other option is to visit Split, which is located further north. Split is Croatia’s second largest city, offering beautiful scenery, the stunning Krka National Park a short drive away, and many places to wine and dine. The town is also well located for exploring the islands of Brac and Hvar, and you’ll certainly want to visit the latter. Hvar is a sun-soaked island paradise of boat trips and beaches by day, coming alive on an evening. We recommend staying a few days in Split and then catching the ferry to Hvar.
Top activity for hen parties:
Go wine tasting! Croatian wines aren’t as well known as other European favourites, but many of the country’s wineries have won global awards. It’s the perfect activity to enjoy at sunset.
